METROVENT Metrovent is the first all-in-one measuring and adjusting flowmeter, specifically designed to quickly balance the flowrates in a ventilation system. It can be installed along any DN 75 ventilation duct.
It leverages an innovative and patented mechanical turbine-based method, the red hand shows the flowrate at a glance. The butterfly valve then allows to adjust the flowrate at a glance with a screwdriver.
With METROVENT there are no more doubts about the real flowrates that flow inside the ventilation system.

Metrovent accurately measures flowrates with a range from 0 up to 40 mc/h, it is ideal for residential energy ventilation systems.

Metrovent allows a quick and easy flowrate balancing. The butterfly valve then allows to adjust the flowrate at a glance with a screwdriverer.

Metrovent enables a quick reading without comparison in controlled mechanical ventilation applications:

- Certified accuracy by a notified Accredia laboratory and deployed to comply with EN 12599

These feautures make Metrovent compliant with the mandatory EN 12599 norm for the ventilation system balancing.
Instant system-wide flowrate balancing
Metrovent can be installed in anywhere along the DN 75 duct, with the foresight to leave at least 40 cm of upstream pipe, to stabilize the flow of air to be measured.
The flowmeters can be installed in easily accessible points with the possibility to group them immediately downstream of the distribution manifolds or inside special inspection boxes inside the partitions.
Unlike any other measurement device, Metrovent is permanently installed with the ventilation system.
This allows to quickly carry out any diagnostic and maintenance during the whole life cycle of the installation.
Clogged filters and the need of their clenaning or replancement for example, are quickly highlighted from a reduced flowrate compared to those of the project.
Minimum pressure drop
The shape and the number of the turbine blades have been studied to obtain the maximum measurement precision with a wide range of the hand for easy reading. The shape of the blades allows the extraction of a very high torque with reduced overall load losses. The measured pressure losses of Metrovent at a flow rate of 30 mc/h are less than 1 Pa and therefore totally negligible in the sizing and operation of the ventilation system.
