Up

UP is the active ceiling system proposed for radiant conditioning of buildings, both in heating and cooling. UP ensures exceptional thermo-hygrometric comfort even in hot seasons. Overview

The active ceiling panel 'UP' consists of a 12.5 mm thick plasterable gypsum board, in which the hydraulic circuit is embedded. The panel is insulated against thermal losses with a 30 mm thick layer of expanded polystyrene, which also contributes to increasing the acoustic insulation of the environment. The hydraulic circuit is made with active Pex tubing, with a diameter of 8 mm and a thickness of 1 mm, with an EVOH oxygen barrier according to DIN 4726. The path of the tubes is indicated on the lower face of the panel to allow for drilling holes for fastening with maximum freedom, but without interfering with the hydraulic circuit.

The active 'UP' panel is available in sizes 600x1000mm, 1200x1000mm, and 1200x2000mm. There is also a version for insulation only, for completing non-active ceiling parts. Installed like a regular suspended ceiling, it occupies only 60mm from the floor, if installed flush. Thermal performance is certified according to EN 14240 and EN 14037 standards.
